Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have construction management experience related to the hotel industry and have knowledge of hotel operations or other facilities. Must have experience with serving as a Contracting Officer Representative (COR). The Hale Koa Hotel will be having an in-person Job Fair on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Applicants will submit their applications and resumes which will be immediately reviewed and, if qualified, given to management for an on-the-spot interview. Selected applicants will start the pre-employment process, to include fingerprinting, following the interview.

Applicants should bring the following: Resume - must be two pages (or less) 2-3 Professional References with Contact Information Valid Photo ID and Social Security Card Applicable professional certificates and/or transcripts.

Major Duties

Provide on-site project management for major construction/renovation projects. Duties include but are not limited to: oversight and management of contractor's performance schedule and work-in-progress, review and recommend approval for progress payments, maintain project logs, provide project status reports, coordinate actions between all stakeholders, supervise office and quality control staff. Perform duties of the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), coordinate and resolve requests for information (RFI), conduct analysis and provide recommendations to contracting officer for modifications, RFIs, and other design, construction and schedule related contracting issues.

Conduct contract administrative functions as defined in COR appointment letter. Able to work independently, making appropriate assessments of conditions, providing management with problem statement and recommended course of action, implements command decision, guidance, laws, regulations and policy in the development and execution of project designs and construction.

Allowances and Differentials: This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
