Qualifications
MILITARY GRADES: E5 through E6 COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS: 01A SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Education: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related OR Experience: At least 1-year specialized experience must be equivalent to at least the next lower grade. Specialized experience factors encompass human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force. Knowledge of, and skill in applying fundamental HR management methods, principles and practices and standardized analytical, and evaluative methods and techniques to advise on and or resolve moderately complex, non-controversial and/or recurring recruitment and placement, voluntary and involuntary separation actions and Army AGR retirement actions, AFSC/MOS requirements, AGR Programs and policies issues and problems for which there are one or more readily apparent solutions; to advise, assist managers and employees; to apply rules and regulations; and to research and analyze policy regarding a variety of HR issues. Major Duties
Provides advice and support to managers, supervisors, and the HRO on recruitment and placement actions for AGR Personnel.
Ensures required selection documentation and information contained thereon is correct including military compatibility.
Responsible for the timely and accurate administration of voluntary and involuntary separation actions and Army AGR retirement actions.
Consults with other Human Resources Specialist to facilitate Full-Time manning reporting.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Education
To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position. You may combine education with specialized experience to meet the length of experience requirement for GS-09. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the line of work. For the GS-09 level: To qualify on education alone applicant must have one of the following: master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. Only graduate education in excess of the amount required for the next lower grade level may be used to qualify applicants for positions at grades GS-9 including qualifying with combination of education and experience. To receive credit for Education, you must provide transcripts or documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
