About This Position

Make an impact while you learn! The Semester of Service Program gives students a volunteer, project-based opportunity to support real Federal missions, gaining hands-on experience and career-ready skills. To participate, students must be enrolled at least half-time in an accredited institution and participation must be with the permission of the institution at which the student is enrolled. With this project, you will support an Artificial Intelligence based project.

Qualifications

Applicants will be considered based on their knowledge, skills or abilities related to project needs. Specifically, applicants should: Seeking a motivated volunteer with a passion for applying Artificial Intelligence to support the U.S. Army. Leverage the Army's integrated, enterprise data analytics platform, Army Vantage (powered by Palantir Foundry), to develop a sophisticated AI agent. This agent will be designed to draft documents by analyzing authoritative policy and past examples.

You will work with Army law enforcement professionals to gather feedback to refine the agent. This is a unique opportunity to apply your advanced artificial intelligence skills to a real-world challenge, making a lasting impact by modernizing Army processes and delivering significant, long-term efficiencies. While not required,coding experience is beneficial.

Additional Information

In-person, Hybrid, and/or Telework work models are authorized for consideration. These projects are expected to be completed mostly through telework however, OPMG may have some travel opportunities for students.In person in processing may be required within the national capital region for network access depending on the student and their location. The Office of the Provost Marshal General Law Enforcement Division develops, directs, implements, monitors, and assesses HQDA policies, programming, and planning pertaining to policing operations, investigations, police intelligence operations, and reporting; military working dogs; crime prevention; traffic operations; and other enabling activities in support of Army protection functions.
