TITLE 32 ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC (MI CRTC)

***THIS IS A TITLE 32 NATIONAL GUARD POISITION THAT REQUIRES MILITARY MEMBERSHIP*** This position is located in an Air National Guard Munitions Section. The purpose of this position is to provide munitions support to the state and designated agencies in support of their taskings. The Materiel Section is comprised of Operations, Inspections, and Stockpile Management Elements. Manages allocations, stock levels, inventories, requisitions, and disposition of munitions. Manage excess serviceable/unserviceable munitions program. Production Section is comprised of Conventional Maintenance, Line-Delivery, Munitions Materiel Handling Equipment and may involve Missile Maintenance. May perform the following depending on assignment to MAF, CAF, Intel, or RPA units without Aircraft: Assembles/Disassembles, adjusts configuration, performs maintenance/tests & repairs, handles and transports ammunition, decoys, countermeasures to include LUU series flares and dispensers, rocket, unguided and guided weapons and countermeasures, demolition material, and other types of conventional ordnance such as 40MM, Cluster Bomb Units (CBU), Guided Bomb Units (GBU), general purpose bombs, aircraft canon ammunition, missile systems, for loading on aircraft based on Unit Committed Munitions List (UCML) and Wings training requirements. Systems Section is comprised of Munitions Control, Combat Plans, Mobility & Training and Plans & Scheduling Elements. Coordinates with various sections to ensure the effective flow of information, scheduling, and use of available resources. Complies with safety and security requirements. Complies with all Federal, State, DOD, USAF, and local regulations concerning hazardous materials/waste munitions assets.
