SUPV MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST
About This Position
The Division of Investment Management (IM), Managing Executive's Office (MEO) is seeking an Assistant Director in its Business Solutions Office. In this leadership role, you will manage a team and oversee business and technology initiatives that support the Division's mission.
You will provide strategic advice to senior leadership, drive process improvements (including process modernization using the latest technology tools), and ensure effective delivery of programs and services.
Qualifications
All qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement. Time-in-grade for this announcement is one year at the GS/SK-14 level. Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector.

Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: SK-17: Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS/SK-14 level: Developing and interpreting policies, procedures, and strategies governing the planning and delivery of services throughout the agency; AND Providing expert technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to management and other technical specialists on critical issues; AND Applying new, creative solutions to problems; AND Making recommendations that significantly influence important agency policies or programs.
Major Duties
Identify and analyze business requirements and initiatives for the Division; assess the scope and complexity of proposed initiatives; address immediate needs and develop long-term strategic solutions; and prioritize needs based on impact, cost, and organizational objectives. Utilize Agile and project management principles to define business and functional requirements for applications and systems with an understanding of technological capabilities and limitations. Collaborate with Divisions and Offices to design and implement systems and coordinate with the Office of Information Technology on development, operations, and related information technology matters.
Lead technology solutions for business needs. Translate customer requirements into clear information technology objectives, monitor risks, and advise on tools, systems, and emerging technologies. Act as the primary link between stakeholders to ensure information technology goals are met.
Build strategic partnerships; recommend solutions that align with organizational goals and strengthen business processes across programs and projects; and represent the Division on interagency committees focused on information technology governance and planning. Perform supervisory duties, including setting performance expectations, providing feedback, managing training, awards, and recruitment; and communicate policies, procedures, and goals to staff.
How You Will Be Evaluated

Teamwork and Collaboration - Interacts with internal and external stakeholders in a manner that advances SEC and IM's goals and objectives. Developing and Managing Others - Ability to recruit, develop and manage the workforce to meet organizational goals, with little or no guidance.
