Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Major Duties
You will serve as the primary advisor for directing and coordinating Sexual Assault Prevention and Response (SAPR) within the Navy or Marine Corps command.
You will formulate program objectives and priorities and implement plans consistent with the long-term interest of the command.
You will collaborate and maintain liaison with stakeholders to improve SAPR response as well as develop and collaborate on public awareness campaigns.
You will analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvement and use that data to inform decision making, improve program services, and generate reports.
You will apply skilled communication, including developing rapport and actively listening to perform victim advocacy and support for adult cases of sexual assault.
You will be responsible for performing supervisory duties such as assigning tasks, setting performance expectations, and evaluating personnel performance.
Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position OR Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field OR Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
