About This Position

This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation(CMMI), Division of Analysis & Networks (DAN). As a Supervisory Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-15, you will provide leadership and executive direction for implementing assigned programs, oversee the development and implementation of data analytics, stakeholder networks and targeted communications and outreach strategies.

Major Duties

Direct and manage a Division responsible for cross-model learning programs, analytics, and Center-wide improvement initiatives supporting CMMIโ€™s innovation mission.
Provide executive leadership and supervision over staff, including hiring, performance evaluation, workforce development, and workload distribution.
Advise senior CMS, HHS, and CMMI leadership on short- and long-range strategies related to healthcare payment and delivery reform.
Oversee stakeholder engagement and national learning networks, fostering collaboration among providers, payers, states, and Federal partners.
Lead complex projects and initiatives, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders including OMB, OIG, Congress, and contractors, and resolving high-level programmatic issues.
