About This Position

To be eligible for the Pathways Intern Program, individuals must have been accepted for enrollment or currently enrolled in the 2026 Spring or upcoming semester and seeking a degree (diploma, certificate, etc.) in a qualifying educational institution on a full or half time basis.

Qualifications

Who May Be Considered: Students Enrolled or accepted for enrollment during the current 2026 or next upcoming semester in a degree-seeking program (diploma, certificate, etc.) in an accredited/qualifying educational Institution, on a full or half-time basis. Student Trainees qualify based on educational achievements: For the GG-03 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of post high school study. For the GG-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree.

For the GG-05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree. For the GG-07 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education or eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision after completing a bachelor's degree. Transcripts (Are Required) - To be eligible for the Student Internship Program, you must submit unofficial/official transcripts with the current 2026 enrollment period course load along with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 - The absence of this information will result in an ineligible rating.

Major Duties

The incumbent serves in a developmental capacity assisting with a wide variety of management operational functions.

The employee works in strict adherence to specific, detailed guidelines provided by a supervisor.

Assist senior analysts in identifying and developing data that is required for the management of programs.

Researching and investigating new or improved business and management practices for the agency.

Education

For the GG-03 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of post high school study. For the GG-04 grade level: Completion of 2 full academic years of post-high school study or associate's degree. For the GG-05 grade level: Completion of all requirements for a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree.

For the GG-07 grade level: Completion of 1 full academic year of graduate level education or eligibility under the Superior Academic Achievement Provision after completing a bachelor's degree. Qualifying education must be conferred or awarded by the closing date of this announcement. To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university.

A one year probationary or trial period may be required. Management has the prerogative to select at any grade level.
