This position is located on the Island of Oahu at Pililaau Army Recreation Center, Waianae, HI. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid. Major Duties

As head lifeguard, oversees the accomplishment of work and evaluates waterfront operation efficiencies. Assist manager by insuring adequate staffing of operations with personnel and the safety of users.

Directs lifeguards as required in the performance of their duties. Performs checks and makes adjustments in water quality levels and ensures that the pump rooms are maintained and operational.

As head lifeguard, supports the management team in decision making and responding to concerns of guests and users. As lifeguard, responsible for the life guarding of guests at the waterfront. Rescues swimmers and administers first aid as required.

Coordinates and conducts in-service and water survival training according to ATP 7-22.01 as of October 2020. Attends and or arranges for the conduct of aquatics and ocean front safety training. Maintains peak physical condition.

Maintains daily logs and records as required. Carries out work in accordance with policies, regulations, directives, and requirements. Exercises judgment on routine matters where discretion is permitted.
