Recreation Aid (Sports) - Flexible
About This Position
This position is located at the Fitness Branch, Sports section, of the Fleet Readiness Department, US Naval Air Station Sigonella, Italy. Incumbent performs a variety of duties in support of the Sports programs.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements: Three (3) months of general experience OR high school diploma (or GED/equivalent). General experience is (1) any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position.
Major Duties
Performs a variety of duties in support of the Sports programs. Provides necessary services and information to authorized patrons. Ensures adherence to regulations, safety and security procedures. Assists in maintaining routine reports, inventory control and clerical duties. Performs basic custodial and general maintenance tasks. Provides support for recreation events set up and break down. Operates a cash register and Point of Sale (POS) system, receives payments and makes change. Performs other related duties as assigned.
