QUALITY ASSURANCE SPECIALIST

You will serve as a Quality Assurance Specialist for the Detachment's Quality Control Programs and member of Process Validation Team(s).
You will monitor quality indicator information and recommend changes to work instructions/ processes to reduce unnecessary quality cost.
You will investigate quality discrepancies and monitor/establish corrective action and provide reports to OIC and DOIC on status as required.
You will maintain Detachment Earle's Quality Instructions/Quality Control Manuals to reflect current changes and needs.
You will recommend the establishment of necessary quality indicators to provide "real-time results."
You will participate as Team Member for the Division's Quality Improvement Program as it relates to the Detachment.
You will assist the OIC/DOIC and Division Heads with the interpretation of quality policies and procedures and monitor assigned projects for compliance with quality program requirements.
You will participate in special studies performing statistical quality control analysis for the purpose of ensuring maximum economic efficiency of the quality control program.

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Successful completion of a master's degree or equivalent graduate degree with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position. OR Successful completion of 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education with major study in quality assurance, statistics, mathematics, production management, industrial management, computer science, engineering, engineering technology, physical sciences, textiles, or another field related to the position.
