About This Position

The Program Manager for Next Generation Integrated Air and Missile Defense Capability provides leadership and strategic direction for enterprise-wide integration and delivery of advanced weapon systems. This role demands expertise in systems acquisition, kill web architecture, risk management, and coordination of testing and deployment, focusing on accelerated MVP capabilities.

Major Duties

Provides visionary leadership for integrating multi-domain weapon system development and delivery, ensuring synchronization across Services, acquisition pathways, and organizations. Focuses on accelerating MVP deployment to meet Presidential commitments, proactively communicating progress and challenges to Congress, and maintaining synchronization with the Golden Dome for America (GDA) DRPM Office. Directs integration activities to support accelerated fielding of critical capabilities in response to emerging threats, prioritizing MVP solutions, streamlining operational deployment, and ensuring transparent Congressional briefings on milestones and performance metrics. Coordinates activities directly with the GDA DRPM Office. Establishes enterprise integration processes and performance metrics, providing visibility across cost, schedule, technical, and operational domains. Develops reporting mechanisms for program status, ensuring continuous data sharing with the GDA DRPM Office. Directs governance structures like IPTs and Execution Synchronization Boards to expedite MVP development and deployment, ensuring transparency and accountability to Congress and collaboration with the GDA DRPM Office. Defines roles, responsibilities, and decision authorities to resolve challenges and eliminate roadblocks to rapid MVP fielding. Proactively addresses Congressional concerns and ensures coordination with the GDA DRPM Office. Develops performance reporting frameworks and dashboards for execution status, capability alignment, and risk posture, tracking progress toward MVP delivery and Presidential commitments. Shares data with Congressional stakeholders and the GDA DRPM Office. Delivers reports, performance assessments, and updates to agency leadership, oversight bodies, Congress, and the GDA DRPM Office. Highlights MVP progress, identifies risks, and addresses Congressional inquiries while ensuring all stakeholders are informed. Oversees risk management activities to mitigate obstacles to MVP deployment. Keeps Congress informed of risks and strategies while coordinating with the GDA DRPM Office. Leads strategic trade space assessments, recommending risk-adjusted strategies for schedule recovery and resource optimization. Prioritizes MVP investments, communicates decisions transparently to Congress, and collaborates with the GDA DRPM Office. Chairs risk review boards and validates mitigation plans, ensuring MVP initiatives are protected, sharing findings with Congress, and involving the GDA DRPM Office in all risk activities. Directs cross-domain test and evaluation alignment with program schedules and fielding needs, ensuring rigorous validation of MVP capabilities. Keeps Congress informed and coordinates efforts with the GDA DRPM Office. Collaborates on integrated test plans, minimizing redundancy and validating kill web performance. Communicates results to Congress and works closely with the GDA DRPM Office. Resolves test conflicts and resource barriers, maintaining efficient testing for accelerated MVP fielding. Keeps Congress informed of challenges and ensures synchronization with the GDA DRPM Office. Drives strategic program realignment, prioritizing MVP delivery to meet Presidential commitments. Ensures Congress is informed and aligns adjustments with the GDA DRPM Office. Recommends acquisition strategy modifications to ensure timely delivery of MVP solutions. Communicates changes to Congress and coordinates with the GDA DRPM Office. Aligns program execution with evolving threats, operational plans, and priorities, ensuring rapid deployment of effective MVP capabilities. Keeps Congress informed and collaborates with the GDA DRPM Office. Provides strategic direction to a multidisciplinary team for mission execution and synchronization. Ensures Congress understands organizational structure and fosters collaboration with the GDA DRPM Office. Fosters a high-performance culture emphasizing innovation, accountability, and excellence. Engages with Combatant Commanders and Service Components to align capability delivery with mission needs, prioritizing MVP deployment to address threats.
