Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 (GS-13 equivalency) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Evaluating acquisition, procurement, engineering, or program management requirements within the defense sector. Major Duties
You will serves as the PMS 401 Submarine Acoustic Systems Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Lead with the Submarine Direct Reporting Portfolio Manager (DRPM).
You will serve as a PMS401 Submarine Acoustic Systems International Programs Analyst.
You will play a pivotal role in managing and overseeing acquisition in support of International Programs inclusive of assigned AUKUS, cooperative, and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs.
You will be responsible for managing, planning, analyzing, and evaluating various evolving technical, maintenance, and logistics requirements to ensure program requirements are continuously met throughout design, production, sustainment and policy.
You will leverage your programmatic, financial, logistics, engineering management and policy analysis skills to track and report on program progress, ensuring that all milestones are met on time and within budget.
You will utilize your critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement process improvements.
You will present findings, recommendations, and status updates to senior leadership and other key stakeholders.
You will work closely with contractors, cross-functional teams, including engineering, contracting, financial management, other Department of the Navy commands, the Department of War and the Department of State to achieve program goals.
You will build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders will be crucial to facilitate smooth program execution and to drive continuous improvement in acquisition, sustainment and policy processes.
You will foster a collaborative environment will contribute to the overall success of the Submarine Acoustic Systems Program Office.

Additional Information
This position is part of the Department of Defense Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project. The NH-04 broadband level encompasses positions equivalent to GS-14 and GS-15.
This position has a control point; thus the salary range may be capped at the GS-15, step 05, which is equivalent to $191,850. If your current salary is above this amount, your salary may be matched. This announcement uses the Acquisition Demo Business and Technical Management direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
