KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or competencies in the following areas: 1.

Expert knowledge of operating characteristics of the aircraft such as would be gained through completion of a recognized Military Flight School (Aeronautical Rating) and/or rated aircrew experience

  1. Master knowledge of overall missions, functions, and organization of the agency or component.
  2. Extensive knowledge of organizational concepts, principles, and practices.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with accuracy.
  4. Ability to work with, lead, and manage various groups or individuals to resolve difficult problems/situations as related to organizational issues.
  5. Skill in interpreting and applying complex DOD, USAF, AFMC, and AFSC regulations, methods, operating procedures, and policies.

Serves as an expert military aircraft system performance specialist representing the pilot community for all avionics software improvements. Reviews other mission planning software work to ensure all requirements are properly implemented. Attends required coordination and review meetings and assists in formulating software requirements, procedures, and limits of the mission planning program. Represents the organization with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
