About This Position
The Army Recreation Machine Program (ARMP) operates under the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) G-9 U.S Army in support of all the branches of military personnel/civilians assigned, as well as family members and authorized guests. Better known as ARMP, our organization is dedicated to providing support to America's service personnel throughout the world. With sites in nine (9) countries, we truly are Serving MWR Worldwide.
Qualifications
Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Specialized slot or amusement machine technical experience or specialized technical experience gained from working in a position that required extensive knowledge of electronics to include basic machine components and solid-state electronic components. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience directly related to the duties described above. Highly qualifying criteria include ARMP technician certification, or comparable field service certification and Network+ certification. Experience using Micro Outlook software applications is required, (e.g., Power Point, Word, Excel and Outlook).
Major Duties
Manages the day-to-day operations and administration of a field office and performs route work on Electronic Gaming Machines (primarily slot machines). Applies a practical knowledge and understanding of slot management systems, electronic theories, internet technology, and network applications and principles. Develops and/or communicates guidance and directives necessary to manage a fluid, profit-generating gaming business with a fluctuating customer base. Represents the organization at conferences and Briefs community commanders and Army Air Force Exchange System (AAFES) business managers on operational matters concerning their area of operation. Identifies problems and recommends and/or initiates corrective action. Evaluates the success of projects in terms of profitability, customer satisfaction, and mission. Reviews financial reports, estimates project requirements and costs, develops field office operating plans and procures supplies and equipment. May perform the full range of supervisory duties. Monitors and evaluates the troubleshooting and repair abilities of subordinate technicians. Provides technical training when necessary and performs repairs and maintenance on Electronic Gaming Machines and other equipment. Ensures compliance with regulations and standard operating procedures. Performs cash collections, and trains subordinates and game room personnel on cash collection procedures. Applies EEO principles to all aspects of personnel management. Participates in and supports EEO/AA activities and encourages subordinates to do so. Supports and ensures the integrity of any applicable internal control systems.
