Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: -One year of general work experience and six months warehousing experience The Hale Koa Hotel will be having an in-person Job Fair on Tuesday, 21 April 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Applicants will submit their applications and resumes which will be immediately reviewed and, if qualified, given to management for an on-the-spot interview. Selected applicants will start the pre-employment process, to include fingerprinting, following the interview.

Applicants should bring the following: Resume - must be two pages (or less) - Resume should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities (KSAs) as they pertain to this position. 2-3 Professional References with Contact Information Valid Photo ID and Social Security Card Applicable professional certificates and/or transcripts.

Major Duties

Provides a full range of storekeeping services involving quality control inspection, receipt, storage and issuance of a variety of perishable foodstuffs for all hotel kitchen operations. Receives incoming shipments of food, some of which have been reviewed by the hotel warehouse staff. Inventories and orders all direct issue items such as produce, dairy products, breads, etc.

Completes receiving documents and moves to storage areas. Identifies and rotates stock ensuring special storage requirements have been met. Issues materials in accordance with established procedures. Verifies inventory and shipping documents, independently prepares shipping documents and related reports.

May operate a forklift in storing and rotating stock.

Area of Consideration: This job is open to candidates who live in this commuting area (the Island of Oahu). If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered. If you reside outside of the local commuting area, relocation costs will be at your expense.

PCS Costs: Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based upon a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. Allowances and Differentials: This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit.
