About This Position

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST T32, Position Description Number D1957000 and is part of the AZ 162nd Wing, National Guard.PDD1957000.

Qualifications

Military Grades: E-5/SSgt to E-7/MSgt Compatible Military Assignments: Must possess or able to maintain the AFSC of 2S0X1 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1-year specialized experience, education or training equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Must have experience, education, or training which involved detailed knowledge of organizations and their functions in logistical support (i.e., supply, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities). Experience planning and organizing work assignments.

Major Duties

This position is located at the 162d WG in Tucson, Arizona. Its purpose is to be the point of contact for the Logistics Readiness Squadron deployment and training activities. Manages customer training and provides the Logistics Readiness Squadron forces with training and resources for deployed operations. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

Knowledge of commonly used methods, procedures, Air Force (AF) and National Guard Bureau (NGB) regulations and guidance governing and relating to developing, presenting and managing mobility and training programs for the Logistics Readiness Squadron. 2. Knowledge and skill in applying analytical and evaluative techniques to the identification, consideration, and resolution of program related issues and problems. 3. Skill in defining problem areas and in application of conventional mobility management principles and concepts. 4. Factual and thorough knowledge of the responsibilities of logistics plans and support functions that interrelate with the incumbent's assignment. 5. Knowledge of methods and procedures to develop training and of the methods used to evaluate training effectiveness.
