About This Position
This position is located at Pinon Health Center, Administrative Services, Facility Management in Pinon, Arizona. The primary purpose is to maintain hospital grounds, including yards, fences, trees, shrubs, and signage, to ensure a clean and orderly appearance. Performs trash removal; loads and unloads supplies, mows and trims vegetation; removes snow and debris from sidewalks. A REAL ID will be required beginning May 7, 2025, in accordance with 6 C.F.R. 37.5 (2021).
Qualifications
To qualify for this position, your resume must state sufficient experience and/or education, to perform the duties of the specific position for which you are applying. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; social).
You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer and part time experience.

BASIC REQUIREMENT(S): There is no specific length of training or experience required, however, applicants will be rated on the basis of their responses to the Occupational Questionnaire that you possess the competencies to perform the duties of this position without more than normal supervision, and the information contained in their resume. Physical Effort: Grade 4 laborers exert very heavy physical effort in operating large, riding mowers on grades and in areas with bushes, trees, and other visible obstacles that require significant maneuvering and lever control.
Employees at this level frequently lift and move equipment and components weighing over 23 kilograms (50 pounds). Working Conditions: At this level laborers work outside in all kinds of weather, and inside in areas that may be dusty, drafty, and noisy. The equipment, tools, and tasks involved at this level frequently require extreme care and use of safety gloves, ear plugs, safety glasses, or respirators to avoid severe injuries.

Major Duties
Collect, dispose trash and debris from parking lots, driveways, transient/vacant quarters. Cut weeds, grass and unwanted plants collects and remove from site. Maintain borders around trees and shrubs Cleans, sweeps, seal cracks to sidewalks, asphalt pavement and curbing around driveways and parking lots, and crosswalk Assures that all perimeter and privacy fencing/gates are in good condition; repair damaged post, railing, hinge, latches and mend torn or loose fabric.
Keep fences clear of drifted sand and tumbleweeds Operates the Bobcat in areas that require constant attention to working space and environment. Uses common hand tools and simple power equipment such as trimmer or push type lawn mowers
Conditions of Employment
