About This Position

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: GS-12: Experience 1) Managing a complex system of integrated software applications and databases; 2) Providing specialized data management work involving the design, creation, maintenance and administration of computerized databases; 3) Performing quality control and auditing of databases to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data; and 4) Facilitating configuration change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, developers, analysts and system administrators Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: GS-11: Experience 1) Demonstrating the knowledge of Designs and develops Information Technology (IT) database systems; 2) Assisting in conducting database performance tuning; 3) Utilizing software and database design principles and methods to create IT solutions based on functional requirements; and 4) Assisting with implementing and maintain database security.

Major Duties

You will provide specialized data management work involving the design, creation, maintenance and administration of databases.

You will analyze and defines data requirements and specifications.

You will leverage knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL), Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL) in the performance of these duties

You will perform quality control and auditing of database structures to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.

You will develop and administer data standards, policies, and procedures for data access.

You will manage and facilitate configuration change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, developers, analysts and system administrators.

You will ensure the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of data management services.

You will evaluate and provide recommendations on new database and software technologies and architectures.

You will build database and software applications using programming languages, integrated development environments, scripting language on the Salesforce platform.

You will participate in special projects and other duties as assigned

This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Several vacancies may be filled.

This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
