About This Position

OIG is organized into six operational units: the Immediate Office of the Inspector General, Office of the Counselor, Office of Audits and Evaluations, Office of Healthcare Inspections, Office of Investigations, and Office of Management and Administration.

In addition to the Washington, DC, headquarters, OIG has offices located in more than 60 locations throughout the country.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement. Specialized Experience for the GS-13, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: -Developing custom Web application utilizing Microsoft's Power Platform and SharePoint; AND -Following the Systems Development Life Cycle for the designing, analyzing, coding, testing, and implementing applications.

In addition to meeting specialized experience, applicants must also show proficiency in 1) attention to detail, 2) customer service, 3) oral communication, and 4) problem solving.

Major Duties

Duty locations are limited to the following for this position: Aurora, CO; Austin, TX; Baltimore, MD; Dallas, TX; Kansas City, MO; Las Vegas, NV; San Diego, CA; Seattle, WA; Spokane, WA; Trenton, NJ; Washington, D.C. As an Information Technology Specialist, you will: Work with content providers to solicit content and publish it; work with other developers to enhance user-developed content and meet other business and technical requirements Participate in developing, analyzing, and refining functional and technical specifications and systems requirements. Coordinate the acquisition, Installation, and configuration of the end-to-end infrastructure supporting the site.

Participate in the design of systems architecture; will be responsible for writing code; and developing, analyzing, and refining data models.
