About This Position

1-year non-reimbursable assignment United States Secret Service Financial System Analyst Series Requested: 0501 Security Clearance: TS Onsite Only Only current, full-time federal employees are eligible. Qualifications

Qualifications required: Assisting with the analysis and implementation of financial management system software and enhancements. Maintaining financial application modules and interfaces with other business systems; providing input to the design and development of integrated systems to improve specific office functions. Monitoring systems control, security and performance; and/ or testing of system applications and interfaces to determine their impact on automated systems.

Planning, coordinating, implementing, and/or maintaining major financial systems. Developing systems' procedures for daily use and maintenance of automated systems; reviewing, Analyzing and testing new or revised policies and procedures to determine impact on automated systems. Providing technical assistance regarding the capabilities and utilization of systems software.

Major Duties

Assists with the analysis and implementation of financial system software and enhancements; and provides input in the development of procedures and guidelines for daily use and maintenance of financial systems; and in the formulation of application proposals that identify specific products or functions. Participates in testing and evaluating new principles, techniques, and procedures through the establishment of prototype methods and/or system models; and monitors systems control, security and performance. Works in a consultative role with various officials on financial, property, procurement and other automated systems; and participates in operational projects intended to meet system requirements.

If the position requires a security clearance, employees must have a SECRET or TOP SECRET clearance to placement AND must maintain that level of clearance while performing in the position.
