Major Duties
The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base is searching for an Electromagnetic Warfare Analyst, NSIC (GG-0132-07 Target 12). Description: 2 IAS/IWT is seeking to fill an Electromagnetic Warfare Intelligence Analyst position on its Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance Team, GG-0132-09-12. This is open to NSIC and external members and should last approximately two weeks starting DDMMM2026.
The position is responsible for participating in planning and completing tasks on the Electromagnetic Warfare team, ensuring that all-source technical intelligence analysis and production complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Completes a broad range of counterspace threat analysis entailing unique problems, creativity, innovative use of techniques, advance approaches, and new technology. Qualified applicants will have education or experience with radiofrequencies, Electromagnetic Warfare, and/or analyzing electromagnetic warfare threats, analysis skills, and strong motivation and communication skills.
Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodology of intelligence processes, techniques, sources, and reporting mechanisms gained through education or job experience to permit independent determination of the characteristics of foreign programs targeted against US space operations and the production of intelligence and engineering assessments. Key Skills and Abilities: 1. Knowledge of intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities and requirements to perform intelligence research and operations planning, collection, target analysis and/or other intelligence-related activities.
- Knowledge of the principles, concepts and methodologies of intelligence operations, research, analysis and integration; and skill in analysis/production of reports and other products in response to the specific needs of customers to include formulating, gathering, organizing and analyzing information; resolving conflicts; and presenting clear and concise findings.
- Skill in conducting unbiased, difficult research, identify appropriate available systems/data sources, and produce collections requirements assessments that answer specific tasks to link and leverage agency capabilities and to develop new methods, approaches, or procedures.
- Skill in analysis and production of reports and other products that respond to specific needs of customers to include formulating, gathering, organizing and analyzing information; and presenting clear and concise findings.
- Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, in working out solutions to problems or questions related to the work, writing clear and concise intelligence products, and delivering written and/or verbal presentations.
