Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge, and abilities (KSAs) as they pertain to this position. A qualified candidate must possess the following: Must have knowledge, skills and ability to perform the duties listed above to include the ability to use and maintain the tools and equipment of the trade, to keep the assigned work area neat and clean, and to communicate both orally and in writing. The Hale Koa Hotel will be having an in-person Job Fair on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Applicants will submit their applications and resumes which will be immediately reviewed and, if qualified, given to management for an on-the-spot interview. Selected applicants will start the pre-employment process, to include fingerprinting, following the interview. All applicants must have resided in the United States for a minimum of three (3) years preceding this application Applicants should bring the following: Resume must be two pages or less 2-3 Professional references with contact information Valid photo ID and Social Security Card Applicable professional certificates and/or transcripts
Major Duties
Cleans rooms, corridors, stairways, and other areas. Sweeps, mops, vacuums, scrubs, strips and polishes using light and heavy duty powered equipment. Operates industrial equipment to clean rugs, drapes, etc. Performs routine maintenance of equipment. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes toilet facilities. Cleans, and dusts assigned areas. Empties trash. May make beds and changes linen. Washes walls, windows, blinds and ceiling fixtures using ladders, scaffolds and safety belt. Moves heavy furniture. Maintains stock of room and cleaning supplies to perform assigned duties.

Area of Consideration: This job is open to candidates who live in this commuting area (the Island of Oahu). If determined that area of consideration is to be expanded, all candidates will be considered. If you reside outside of the local commuting area, relocation costs will be at your expense.
PCS Costs: Payment of Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs is not authorized based upon a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government interest. Allowances and Differentials: This job falls under the Federal Wage Schedule (FWS) pay system. FWS employees earn overtime pay for working more than 8 hours in a day or more than 40 hours in a week - whichever gives the employee more benefit.
Regular full-time, regular part-time, and regularly scheduled flexible employees may receive Sunday premium pay for working on Sundays. Employees may also be eligible to receive extra pay if the majority of their scheduled hours falls after 3:00 PM. Discover Your Path to Success!
