About This Position

This position is located at Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation- Soto Cano, Honduras. Qualifications

This announcement is open to current Army Nonappropriated Fund (NAF) employees located CONUS only. Work experience directing/managing one or more Directorate of Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Programs for a garrison, or similar civilian operation, for at least one year. Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred: Three years of experience in Business and Recreation Programming Three years of experience with NAF finances and its correlation to service delivery **Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to the selecting official for consideration first.

Major Duties

Responsible for overall management, leadership, and direction of fiscal resources, and policies and guidance of the established objectives of Business Operations and Community Recreation divisions of FMWR at Soto Cano, Honduras.

Delivery of business and recreation services including but not limited to food and beverage operation, fitness center, and equipment check out.

Abide by internal controls for cash handling and property accountability and operational/financial benchmarks.

Act as COR for AOR regarding base-ops contract and work with local nationals that augment FMWR services within MWR facilities.

Performs other duties as assigned.

This is a temporary assignment NTE 12 months and includes movement of personal belongings to and from the duty station. Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials This is a pay-banded position. Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.

If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.

Overseas Allowances Overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials may be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
