Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: Eligibility for this executive level position will be based upon a clear demonstration that the applicant has experience of the scope and quality sufficient to effectively carry out the assignments of the position. Successful applicants will be distinguished from other applicants by a review of the Technical Qualification (TQs) and Education Requirements, if required. An applicant's resume must show that their experience, education and accomplishments reflect the competence and professional standing required to provide expertise needed for this position.
RESUMES MUST NOT EXCEED TWO (2) PAGES. Resumes over the two (2) page limit will not be reviewed and will be disqualified. Resumes that do not clearly address TQs will not be adequate for evaluation. Failure to meet a TQ requirement will disqualify an applicant. EDUCATION REQUIREMENT Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA:
In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Experience at the Defense Intelligence SES (DISES) Tier 2 level or equivalent (examples of equivalent position designations: SIS-2, SNIS Executive-2, SES-II, SES-III, military experience at the General or Flag Officer level), or relevant experience in the private sector/industry with a minimum fifteen (15) years post-Bachelor's relevant work experience in a reputable organization, five (5) years of which must be in a senior management position.
- Government experience could include assignments as a: leader/deputy of an organization at or below Agency level; component Director or Deputy; successful joint duty at the Tier 2 level; senior functional authority with strategic focus on and direct accountability for managing major programs; managing or performing as the senior technical advisor for large programs, personnel or organizations; experience in budget formulation, overseeing, and enforcing Component/Agency policy; experience as the approval authority for major command or equivalent policies, resources, and programs; representing specific functional areas at interagency meetings; and experience serving on strategic boards, committees, and other groups pertaining to assigned functional areas and knowledge of the NSG and ASG programs. Understanding of and/or practical experience in Joint Targeting processes at the Combatant Command and Joint Force Command levels; specific knowledge/expertise in GEOINT support to targeting.
Private sector/industry experience could include assignments in significant leadership positions in digital transformation initiatives; spearheading Cloud-based within large organizations; leveraging data analysis tools and business intelligence platforms to make data-driven decisions and optimize business processes; relevant professional certifications (CSM, PMP, ITIL, CISM, etc.); budget execution, acquisitions, program management.

Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the TQs and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular technical qualifications and competencies to successfully perform the duties of this position at the advertised grade. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled.
Applicants will be evaluated based on job-related criteria identified under the Qualification Requirements by a selection panel of senior representatives with functional backgrounds relevant to this position. Interviews will be conducted with those applicants whose resume demonstrates the knowledge, skills, or experiences listed in the TQs.
Additional Information
SELECTION REQUIREMENTS: 1. Applicant selected for this position is subject to the completion of a one-year DISES trial period. (Applicants selected from outside NGA may be required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period if they have not already done so.) 2.
This position requires access to classified Defense Department and Intelligence Community information. The individual selected must already possess, or be immediately eligible for, a TOP SECRET security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. U.S. citizenship is required for the granting of a security clearance. Successful completion of a polygraph examination is required for employment by NGA.

This position is covered under the Ethics in Government Act of 1978 (P.L. 95-521). Incumbent will be required to file an Executive Personnel Financial Disclosure Report (SF-278) with the NGA Office of General Counsel.
- Employment is subject to requirements of the NGA Drug Testing Program.
