Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: 1. Three or more years of progressive, professional management catering experience with a high volume catering facility that provide an upscale dining experience. 2. Candidates must demonstrate an extensive background in beverage service, table service, and managing events. 3. Candidates are to have a strong background in leadership and be results orientated. 4. The ability to be resourceful, make sound judgments and good decisions is desired. Excellent communication, organizational, office automation skills are required. Major Duties
Assists in managing a larger, diverse full service banquet department and schedules work to accomplish planned banquet events.
Trains, monitors, and leads staff, adjusts operations and staffing as necessary to ensure high quality service.
Responsible for internal controls and compliance with banqueting standard operating procedures.
Answers and resolves guest inquiries, complaints and challenges in a professional manner.
Assists in other operational duties assigned by the Business Manager.
