AIRCRAFT PNEUDRAULIC SYSTEMS MECHANIC T32

This position is located at the 162D in Tucson, Arizona. Its primary purpose is to perform on- and/or off-equipment maintenance on assigned aircraft pneudraulic systems, components and related aerospace ground equipment. THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION.

Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following competencies (knowledge, skills, abilities and other characteristics): 1. Ability to utilize electrical wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics and technical publications, determines extent and type of preventative and/or repair maintenance required. 2. Ability to connect power sources, and using cockpit controls, gauges and additional precision instruments, performs operational and functional checks of in-flight refueling, single point refueling and fuel transfer systems and related valves, pumps, switches, selectors, and control devices. 3. Skill to locate and isolate leaks in fuel tanks/cells, repair and test cells (within aircraft or after removing components) if required, installs, reconnects, and tests the components and systems. 4. knowledge to diagnose and overhaul fuel accessories by disassembling, cleaning, and examining parts for corrosion, scratches, cracks or other damage. 5. Ability to prepare for and participates in various types of readiness evaluations such as ORI. IG and DE inspections, mobility, and command support exercises.
