This position is located at the Feltwell Veterinary Treatment Facility. Incentives and Bonuses Incentives will not be paid.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following: Progressively work experience which demonstrates the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of the position. Basic computer skills to include proficiency in Microsoft Suite or equivalent. Experience in using a point of sales software. Basic arithmetic expertise to balance cash draw, accept payments and provide change accurately. Typing proficiency - 40WPM. In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified": Clerical experience in a Veterinary Clinic or equivalent or working in an outpatient medical facility/operations as clerical-administrative support. Major Duties
Serves as the point of contact for the day-to-day front office operations of a veterinary clinic. Coordinates with clinic management to establish clinic schedule and appointment availability.
Receives telephone calls and visitors to the clinic, determines the nature of call or visit, obtains identifying information, and verifies the patient's eligibility for treatment.
Updates the existing medical record or collects sufficient information to prepare new record. Provides concise accurate information to veterinary care provider on nature of the visit.
Dispenses medications, annotates prescriptions and refills prescriptions in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
Serves as clinic ordering official and Government Purchase Cardholder. Processes purchasing documents. At various times, orders, receives, and inventories veterinary supplies and pharmaceuticals.
Completes bi-weekly payroll reports. Prepares and submits required end of month reports. Assists with preparation of the yearly clinical budget. Initiates personnel actions at the direction of management.

Area of Consideration: This job is open to candidates who are in the local commuting area as defined as Feltwell, United Kingdom and surrounding area within 50-mile radius; in addition to, you are considered eligible if one of the following applies: 1) you live outside of this area and are able to commute to work on a daily/as needed basis, 2) you are able to relocate yourself on your own expenses, 3) you are an involuntarily separated military member, or 4) you are a military spouse/family member relocating to this installation. Spouses/family members do not receive preference until arrival at the overseas location. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP), Family Member Preference (FMP), and Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration). Allowances and Differentials This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Foreign overseas allowances, post allowance, and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
