About This Position
You will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT ASSISTANT (OA) in the Facilities Department. This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support to including drafting correspondence, maintaining files, directives, and other office publications; researching and scheduling travel arrangements; preparing purchase orders for supplies; AND responding to inquiries from external and internal customers.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute.

Major Duties
Performs a variety of administrative duties to include; receive telephone calls and visitors coming into the office, composes and prepares a variety of correspondence, maintains office files, publications, directives.
Demonstrates a level of proficiency in document preparation as well as knowledge of office hardware and software systems to include Microsoft Office products such as, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, PDF and Access.
Types letters, reports, tabulated material, memoranda, and other related documentation in either rough draft or final form.
Coordinates and arranges various meetings and training sessions and prepares agendas for meetings and conferences.
Reviews all incoming correspondence, distributes to the supervisor and other staff members as appropriate.
Education
